Nail Cutting Service – New Service at Age ConcernNail Cutting Service – New Service at Age Concern

We are pleased to announce a new service to provide a simple nail cutting to older people in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Twice a week there will be a clinic at Fassnidge Memorial Hall in Uxbridge from 10.00 am to2.00 pm. Other clinics will be arranged at alternative venues throughout the borough in the future. There will also be some home visits for housebound people. There will be a charge of £7.50 per appointment at our clinic and a charge of £10 for home visits to house bound people. To provide our clients with own personal set of nail cutting equipment we charge one off Registration Fee of £20. To obtain the service you have to be: resident of London Borough of Hillingdon, 60 or over and unable to cut your own toe nails.     We can provide information on all types of accommodation for you to consider for the future including:

    - Sheltered housing to rent or buy

    - Abbeyfield Society homes

    - Care homes

    - The Local Authorities Choice Based Lettings System

     

    How will we do this?

     

    Staff and volunteers will listen to you in a sensitive, professional manner and in accordance with our confidentiality policy. An appointmen can be made to suit you wherever you may be in the Borough. We can visit you in hospital, your home, our offices or the Uxbridge Information Shop.
